Welcome to the International Conference "Infinite-Dimensional Analysis and Topology" dedicated to 70th anniversary of Professor O. Lopushansky.

The Conference is scheduled for October 16-20, 2019 at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, 57 Shevchenko Str., Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine.

The Conference will include plenary sessions and section talks (a 60-minute and a 20-minute presentation from each speaker respectively).

The Conference will discuss the issues of

  • complex analysis and infinite dimensional holomorphy
  • topological tensor products,
  • Banach space theory,
  • operator theory,
  • topological algebra,
  • geometric and infinite dimensional topology.

The official language of the Conference is English.

Tentative programm

  • Wednesday October 16 - arriving, registration, opening and welcome party
  • Thursday October 17 - plenary lectures and sectional talks
  • Friday October 18 - plenary lectures, sectional talks and conference dinner
  • Saturday October 19 - plenary lectures, sectional talks and excursions
  • Sunday October 20 - excursions and departure

The Conference fee is 100 EUR, which will cover the Conference materials, the publication of abstracts and transfer from/to Lviv airport/railway station to/from Ivano-Frankivsk. For Ukrainian participants, the Conference fee may be reduced to 15 EUR (450 UAH). It will cover the Conference materials and the publication of abstracts. If you would like to pay the reduced registration fee, please indicate it in the Registration Form. The Conference fee has to be paid upon arrival at the University, when checking in at the registration desk.

We do not interface between the hotels and you. In Ivano-Frankivsk, hotel prices start from 15 EUR per person per night. We can recommend the following hotels:

  • Fontush Boutique Hotel (82 Chornovola Str.), located within a 5-minute walk from the University;
  • Stanislaviv (7 Chornovola Str.), located within an 8-minute walk from the University;
  • Dnister Hotel (12 Sichovykh Striltsiv Str.), located within a 10-minute walk from the University;
  • Nadiya Hotel (40 Nezalezhnosti Str.), located within a 20-minute walk from the University;
  • Pid Templem Hotel (7A Strachenykh Str.), located within a 15-minute walk from the University;
  • Reikartz Park Hotel (146 Mazepy Str.), located within a 20-minute walk from the University;
  • Tsentralnyi Hostel (5 Hetmana Mazepy Str.); located within a 10-minute walk from the University.

Alternative accommodation is available at a student hostel.

The abstract should be prepared in LaTeX using the template which can be downloaded from the website https://conference.pu.if.ua/idat/pages/abstract_template.php. Please submit an abstract of your talk by email: idat.if.ua@gmail.com. As an alternative option, after registration you can upload the abstract of your talk using the appropriate functionality on the user account page of the Conference website. The deadline for submission of abstracts is September 15, 2019. The book of abstracts will be published before the Conference.
